Carolina Moldoveanu, the head of a Moldavian travel agency, gave information on rural tourism offers on the domestic market for foreign tourists who want to visit the Moldovan Republic.

CHISINAU, 21 aug — Sputnik. Tourists who choose to spend their holiday in the Republic of Moldova will have to pay at least 100 euros a day, according to Carolina Moldoveanu, the head of a local travel agency.

This amount includes travel expenses, accommodation in a country pension, three meals a day, and trips to the country's wineries.

"To be able to see as much as possible and be content with the accommodation, food, and transport, a tourist has to spend about 300 euros for a minimum four-day package, including accommodation and meals," the travel agency's representative told Sputnik Moldova.

According to Carolina Moldoveanu, the rural pensions are located in picturesque areas. The hotel rooms, decorated in Moldavian national style, offer all the comforts of modern hotels.

A visit to a winery costs from 15 to 50 euros, depending on the program. The offer for foreign tourists includes tours through Chisinau old town, the Botanical Garden and the parks in the capital.
