Imaginile infernului vin și astăzi din Australia. Oameni disperați și animale înspăimântate de flăcările care au cuprins statul.

CHIȘINĂU, 5 ian – Sputnik. Imagini apocaliptice vin din statul cuprins de flăcări. Australia continuă să lupte cu incendiile devastatoare. Ieri, trei incendii de vegetaţie s-au unit și au format unul uriaș, care se întinde pe o suprafață de dimensiunea cartierului Manhattan din New York.

Oamenii din toată lumea sunt copleșiți, iar zecile de mii de australieni și-au părăsit locuinţele și au fugit din calea incendiilor.

Ziua de ieri rămâne a fi cea mai catastrofală de la izbucnirea incendiilor pe teritoriul statului australian. Temperaturile au atins aproape 50 de grade, un record de temperatură al ultimilor 80 de ani, potrivit Biroului de Meteorologie. Vânturile puternice au alimentat sute de incendii, majoritatea au scăpat de sub control. Tot ieri, încă un bărbat a decedat, fiind a 24-a victimă la nivel național.

Astăzi, cerul din sud-estul Australiei s-a făcut roșu ca sângele. Multe case au fost distruse în zonă, iar oficialii se tem că vor exista victime.

În imagini vedem oameni disperați și animale înspăimântate de flăcările care au cuprins statul.Pompierii spun că ultimele 24 de ore au fost cele mai dificile pe care le-au avut vreodată. Astăzi aproximativ 2.300 de pompieri luptă contra incendiilor. Potrivit informațiilor oferite de Serviciului de Pompieri Rurale, 150 de incendii s-au înregistrat în tot statul.

O imagine dincolo de cuvinte, care a copleșit milioane de oameni din întreaga lume este cea a unui pui de urs panda care se agață de un om și pare că-l roagă să nu-l lase acolo, în flăcări. Forest fires in Australia kill over 500M innocent animals.

Imagini video prezintă un cangur care pare să-i mulțumească femeii care l-a salvat. Drept răsplată, animalul oferă îmbrățișări.

Conform unor estimări, aproape 8.000 de urși koala au murit în incendiile din New South Wales. Regiunea se află la câteva sute de km distanță de orașul Sydney. Precizăm că incendiile de vegetaţie au distrus în scurt timp peste cinci milioane de hectare, 4 milioane de hectare au fost mistuite de flăcări numai în New South Wales.
